Excellent video
Currently in emt-b class and I've watched this video a couple of times. Final skills are in a month and this has been a great help. thank you
H❤mmgl
One would think that the 911 call taker/dispatcher would have also tapped out ALS the same time as EMS.
Great job!
Thank you! I take my test tomorrow and I can’t wait to move on the cognitive exam for my license 💕
Airway, airway, airway
Waaaay out of date. New techniques available now.
Should we squeeze the female patient’s breasts like demonstrated in the video? Would this be a critical fail, Seems inappropriate to me. 😁
Great Video
No Dcap btls tic?
I hate that checksheet so much. Angina/possible MI + shock (likely cardiogenic) and you're going to sit there and do OPQRST/SAMPLE/PASTE ? I Know you called for ALS but this is a trauma patient now. He should have already been in a moving box with a medic, halfway to ALS intercept, or closer to a hospital if intercept is too far out. Load and go. The Golden Hour should never be mentioned or taught in medical academia. This medic failed a basic emt checkoff.
Very useful for everyone
Yes.. really it's very useful for us.. Thank you so much
This video was VERY well done. Not being pedantic, but it looks as though one of the cravats is directly over the tib-fib injury, thereby causing undue potential pain.
Jeremiah is an awesome paramedic. I had the opportunity to be his in his class recently, and let me say he's very easy to understand, I'm getting ready to take my practicals soon, and this video definitely helps a lot.
I'm confused, are you supposed to load the patient up onto the stretcher and into the ambulance going on your way to the hospital after the ABC? and then in the ambulance do the 2nd assessment? Or do you still stay where you're at to finish 2nd assessment because that's when you put them on a spinal board. Also do both 1st and 2nd assessment need to be done under 10 minutes? Or just the primary with the ABC's?
Just curious why you inserted an OPA when the airway was patent?
❤❤ thanku sir ..
If the neck collar is not available, can I splint with wood, such as a broken thigh?
In my training I learned that if there is no breathing you go straight to CPR
Your patient looks thrilled lol
He never called for the AED
.. Jeremiah .. Thank You .. Sir .. A Wonderfully Detailed Demonstration of All of the Essential Trauma Assessment Skills for a Trauma Patient .. EXCELLENT .. 😇👍👍👍🙏
This is precisely what I was hoping to find! Thank you so much!
This is the best video I have ever seen or come across. Well done, and thank you so much
BEST VIDEO EVER KNOW I UNDERSTAND
Thanks a lot for this video I was so confused with the steps, but am now okay... Would like to watch more videos, this man is a professor like for real.
Thank you for showing me how to accomplish this task.
How does the patient answer your OPQRST questions with his non rebreather mask on? 🤔
Do you know aren't good questions to ask because some patients will tell you yes I do. Just ask where we are and etc
This is exactly what I was hoping to find! Thank you so much! Do you have these videos for all the psychomotor exams?
I'm currently in an EMT-R course and this video was very helpful. I can see I have a lot of practicing to accomplish. Thank you so very much.
Did not asses pulse
I might be wrong but I thought it was yellow, red, Legg, head, then green. Or m,b,l,h,t my baby looks hot tonight
Thank you!
Excellent demonstration. The details that you add in all your videos are incredibly helpful.
Use the foil.sucking chest wounds
Thanks so much
I have a question here , if this was a cardiac arrest situation , i mean if the pulse was undetected .. In that case we will start CPR but should we attach oxygen to BVM or we just give puff without O2 ? Second point , if the patient has weak pulse that he is unconscious shouldn't we start compressions to push blood to the brain and maybe he will regain consciousness?
if there’s a weak pulse you bag them, no pulse start CPR & the reason you don’t add O2 during CPR is because it can be a hassle when you’re trying to restart the heart so it depends on ur resources
You will never use this in the field
Great content!
Thank you so much I watched your video over and over and got all 42 point 😊
is this done in the ambulance or on scene?
this is really good
One thing my teacher told us was that we need to figure out how to put the KED on without moving in front of the patient. Because in a real life scenario, the patient could be in a car and you can’t go through the windshield to strap them in and we can’t stand in front of them if their in a car so, how would you get it on at that point. I know this is a skill station, I was just thinking of that. I’m nerves for this station for the NREMT 😬
I have 5 days 😢
